White House raps Hill probes
Yahoo! News has a story which DRUDGE titles as "Dems launch over 300 investigations in 100 days." OK, well, here's the thing. WHen the Congress doesn't question the Executive Branch for 6 years, bad things happen, at least if W is in the White House. Good for the Dems. Someone has to bring these criminals to justice!

Republicans Trail Democrats in Fund-Raising
I hope the New York Times has a similar headline in Novmber 2008, but with votes substituted for $$!

"'Wasn't it Bill Clinton that was handing out pardons like lollipops at the end of his administration?' former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, now seeking the Republican presidential nomination, told supporters in Iowa on Tuesday.
'And isn't there some recognition that perhaps you might look a little silly if you didn't have anything to say when he was handing out pardon after pardon after pardon for political purposes only?'
But the former president said, 'I think the facts were different.'
'It's wrong to out that CIA agent, and wrong to try to cover it up -- and wrong that no one was ever fired from the White House for doing it,' he said."
How anyone can compare the 2 things is beyond me...and what about those people that W said would be fired as President Clinton mentions. Oops, I guess he didn't really mean that one, either. Must have been that liberal media spinning away again.
